    22. Own a Golden Retriever named Jensen

    23. Brighten someone’s day

    24. Lay under the stars for hours with someone special

    25. Go one day without complaining

I feel like I’m creating this list but am not going to complete it. I have a lot that I want to accomplish in my lifetime, but whether or not I’m actually going to take the initiative and do it is another story.

In other news, I have been spending a lot of time with friends lately, new and old. I realize that I probably don’t have a lot of time left with some of them because it is getting closer to that time where we all part ways. I’m hoping it’s not like high school, and I will actually see some of these people again, but I know that this possibly won’t happen. It’s amazing how people drift in and out of your life. Relationships change. I have grown rather attached to some of these people, but I know from prior experiences that this does not mean very much. This saddens me to think about this, so I’m going to try to give some happy memories.

In high school, I would hang out with the same people most weekends. I remember this one weekend where a few friends and I went to Wal-Mart and played Hide and Seek. Then, we had a conversation in the Gardening Center, while sitting in lawn chairs. After leaving Wal-Mart, I let my friend drive my car, and we did reverse donuts in the parking lot of his church. Needless to say, I was never bored. I miss these friends sometimes.

This other time in high school, my friends and I went to a Something Corporate concert. At the time, I had only began listening to them recently, so I was unfamiliar with their songs. Now, they are my favorite band, and it was because of this night. The second Andrew McMahon took the stage, I was in love. His stage presence is amazing. After the concert, we met up with the opening band outside of The Blue Note, and they invited us to the hotel where they were staying. Apparently, Something Corporate was throwing an after party. I wish I had gone, but being in high school, there was always a curfew. Needless to say, this was one of the best nights of my life.

One other night that sticks out in my mind happened my official senior year of college. The Prim Roses had a mixer with Pi Kaps. I had fun hanging out with my sisters, and I met new friends. One of which, I have discussed in previous posts. A few of us sat on the porch of this house until 6 AM talking. By the time I was heading home, the sun was coming up. When I asked this friend what his initial opinion was of me recently, he replied by retelling this story. He said that I was laidback and cool, and he didn’t want to see me corrupted by the guy I had been interested in at the time because this guy was no good. I wish he had told me this previously.

These are the times that I hope to remember among others. I hope to remember the good times, and I hope there are more to be had.
